Pupils from John Scurr primary school came together in a great group effort in aid of Sport Relief on Friday 21st of March by cycling and running around Bethnal Green Gardens as many times as possible.
Aiming to cover as many miles as they could as a team, each class took it in turns to get on the saddle and pedal around the park in a day-long relay. While not cycling the children were either doing an immense job of cheering on their peers or running to further their mileage!
Across the day over 80 pupils took to their bikes which was an awesome show as well as a huge logistical feat. The children, especially those who cycled, rose to the challenge however and did their school proud by cycling almost 100 miles as a group and raising £650.00.
A huge thank you to the Maze Partnership for all their help and for kindly supplying the bikes for the day.
